Keith Jones, a former NHL player who spent 9 years playing for Washington, Philadelphia, and Colorado, participated in 491 NHL games throughout his career.

However, before he achieved success, he was a rookie who had to work hard to make the team.
Like many young players who come into money, Jones spent a large amount of cash in Las Vegas and bought a Mitsubishi 3000, which was not a wise decision. Even with a signing bonus of $75,000, Jones was not wealthy, and he even borrowed money from his sister to attend training camp.
During training camp, Jones was mistaken for the equipment manager by two veterans, Peter Bondra and Michael Pivonka, who asked him to retrieve their equipment.

Despite feeling discouraged by his financial struggles, Jones persevered and fought Steve Leach in order to prove his worth and secure a spot on the Washington Capitals.
Although it may seem like Jones lost the fight, his determination paid off in the end.
