With a little more than a month to go until the trade deadline ends, all signs are pointing towards the Colorado Avalanche building a super team. When March 21 will be over, Claude Giroux and Marc-Andre Fleury could be on their way to Denver.

TSN Insider Chris Johnston says that the Avalanche have had varying degrees of interest in both superstars but adding both would be very difficult.
HERE IS TSN'S TRADE BAIT LIST FOR 2022:
Jakob Chychrun (Arizona)
Ben Chiarot (Montreal) UFA
Marc-Andre Fleury (Chicago)
Claude Giroux (Philadelphia)
John Klingberg (Dallas)

Johnston also says that both players may not be looking to move. Giroux will soon play his 1000th NHL game with the Flyers over 14 NHL seasons. He holds a full no trade clause and may or may not decide to wave it. According to sources, Giroux is in no rush to make a decision.
Fleury on the other hand may be more of a priority for the Avalanche. Despite the emergence of Darcy Kuemper as a bonafide number one guy, we all know that he is injury prone. Fleury is a Stanley Cup champion, a seasoned veteran and just last year, won the Vezina Trophy for best goalie.
Should the Avalanche decide to make a splash however, they will have to be willing to part with some of their top prospects. Bowen Byram, Alex Newhook, Justus Annunen and first round draft picks will all be on the block.
Both veterans will be UFA's at the end of the season but hold all the cards on their future's.
