The Buffalo Sabres Make Another Big Announcement

The Buffalo Sabres are quietly turning their franchise around. After years of mismanagement they look to be taking a step in the right direction, like the seven year contract extension they gave to Sabres forward Tage Thompson.
The Sabres also made another announcement fans are going to love as they announced they are adding a new black and red third jersey to their uniform set, starting on Nov. 23 against the St. Louis Blues.
For 12 home games Buffalo will wear the third jersey, modelled after the primary uniforms worn from 1996 until 2006, during the 2022-23 season.
This was arguably the best Sabres Jersey style of all time. Alex Tuch hinted the return of the classic jersey on his Instagram story of a child wearing the red alternate version with the Goathead logo.
