The Philadelphia Flyers have been left in a tough position as of late, regarding many situations. The Flyers and John Tortorella have stated they are going too ''play the kids'', but there is simply too many at the moment, which may be a good thing. Some of the ''kids'' include names like Tyson Foerster, Egor Zamula, Robbie Attard, Wade Allison and brothers Jackson and Noah Cates, to name a chunk- there are still plenty more, but there is only 4-5 roster spots for those ''kids''.
It seems as if decisions have been made on the Flyers final roster, in the goaltending department of things despite it not being fully released due to the roster being cap compliant at the moment. The Flyers will start the season with the obvious pick starting between the pipes, Carter Hart, but also Samuel Ersson who will serve as Harts' backup.
Ersson has had one of the most impressive, and noticeably amusing camps out of most on the Flyers roster, and fans should be excited. Although it seems as if it may be a temporary position until Sandstrom (goaltender) is healthy again, he Flyers future is bright in goal.
