The Philadelphia Flyers started the road stand off with another heart-stopping victory as two goals by Joel Farabee including the overtime winner lifted the Flyers over the Wild 4-3 in Minnesota. After the game, the Flyers continued a tradition that has been a hit not only in the locker room, but among Flyers fans on social media.

After each victory, the Flyers chose someone to dawn the underdog mask, a symbol not only of the Flyers but a symbol of Philadelphia sports as it was first used by the Philadelphia Eagles during their 2018 Super Bowl run. After each victory, the player who was chosen to wear it the previous win, choses the dog of the night.
Last night, newest Flyer Jamie Drysdale chose left wing Nick Deslauriers to dawn the mask after Deslauriers played a physical game on the defensive end, putting his body on the line for the team.
"Hell of a win, great comeback on the road. That's two in a row lets keep it going. There's a lot of guys who played well but I got to give it to my boy Desi."
After Deslauriers is presented with the mask, he puts it on and lets out a good bark as the locker room goes crazy in celebration. Moments like this put into perspective how much fun the Flyers have winning and how close knit the locker room has become.
