Are you really surprised? I'm not.
With the way this season is going, Chuck Fletcher must listen to all the offers that will come on his table until March 21st. Unfortunately, players like
Claude Giroux and
Rasmus Ristolainen are probably going to be traded.
But there's a lot of more "marginal" skaters that will generate interest around the league. I'm thinking about Justin Braun, Martin Jones, Keith Yandle and Derick Brassard.
Although Flyers fans couldn't see him play a lot this season because he was bothered by multiple injuries, Brassard is still a very valuable player, especially for contenders.

According to Sam Carchidi, the Flyers are obviously showcasing the 34-year-old player by playing him at center on the 3rd line.
He registered 11 points in 21 games this season, so he can still put points on the board. With that being said, don't expect that a trade involving Brassard will bring a lot of assets back.
Maybe a 3rd or a 4th round pick? That's still a good value for him, as Chuck Fletcher will need as much assets as possible because his objective is to make the playoffs next year, and he will do everything in his power to improve his team this summer, particularly via the trade market.
