The Flyers organization continues rapidly away from the Fletcher era and into the Jones era. The team recently decided to hire former Flyers forward Patrick Sharp as a special adviser to the team with a restructuring of its ownership group from within.
The changes have been rapid and intense. It seems that the Flyers have decided on a key prospect in their system that he has had quite the year. Goalie prospect Ivan Fedotov was caught by the Russian army and government for draft evasion when the war in Ukraine broke out.
Once caught, Fedotov was assigned to Siberia to serve the military service that he was required to.
