The Flyers have signed their 5th round pick in 2017

The Philadelphia Flyers announced the signing of forward Noah Cates to a 2-year entry-level contract that will begin this season.

Cates was the Flyers' 5th round pick in 2017. At 23 years old, the left winger has played 139 games in the NCAA with the University of Minnesota-Duluth, registering 99 points.

Noah Cates also played 4 games for Team USA during the Olympics in February.

He will certainly have the chance to play his first NHL game with the team this season.
