The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is Underway- How Does USA match up?

As fans await the NHL season, there is some hockey to be played. The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is officially under way. There are two groups, Group A and Group B made up of four teams. Team representing their countries to win it all.

Team Canada leads the way for Group A with 2 GP and a record of 2-0-0. Coming off a huge win against Slovakia 9-1. Group B thus far is showing to be the more competitive crew with a total of 15 points and Group A with a total of 12.
Group B has Tam USA sitting at 3rd place right having 2 GP and a record of 1-0-1. Giving them 3 points.

Team USA faces of today against undefeated Czechia (CZE). Should be a tough matchup but a win here will bring them closer to the top of the standings. These are still the preliminary rounds but be sure to keep an eye out for team USA.
