The NHL has been having some shocking news come to light. When it comes to players around the League many of them have had to deal with hiding issues with substance abuse.

It may start with either drinks after games or pain medications to help with a nagging injury, before they know it they are dealing with substance abuse and alcohol or drug addictions.
It's been kept as more of a hush hush thing until Montreal Canadiens Carey Price would come out and admit he had a substance abuse problem that he seeked help for.
Since then we have seen more cases of players coming forward including Nashville Predators forward Michael McCarron. After seeking help from the NHLPA's Substance Abuse Program today the NHL has announced McCarron has been reinstated by the NHL and the NHLPA.
