Many fan bases and teams themselves have requested a clear definition of what a "distinct kicking motion" is from the NHL over the past few years. Given that the decision in question above included aplayoff goal, the whole NHL was upset by it. Last night, a similar situation occurred. Oddly enough, it included the Calgary Flames once, the same team involved in the last set of controversy. Many are accusing the NHL of being "rigged" because this is the second controversial incident involving the Flames using a kicking motion.
