The Philadelphia Flyers are close to re-signing this RFA
There has been some news going around today that the Philadelphia Flyers will be close to re-signing RFA Morgan Frost, according to Philly Hockey Now and Chuck Bausman.
Philadelphia Flyers president Keith Jones said that the team is close to signing Morgan Frost to a contract.
There are only a few remaining RFA's left that the Flyers will have to deal with this offseason. Frost is one of them, as he is due a raise soon enough. He made a huge leap forward in his development during the 2022-2023 season and became a regular contributor to the team during this season.
In 2022-2023, he played 81 games with the Philadelphia Flyers and exceeded expectations in his first full season in the NHL. He posted 19 goals and 27 assists for 46 points in all.

With 158 NHL games under his belt, the Aurora-born center has scored 26 goals and contributed 43 assists for 69 points in 158 games.
It's no secret that Frost is a key player for the team, but there has been no word yet on what the terms of the deal will be, we expect it to be a great deal for the up-and-coming player.
