The Philadelphia Flyers get disrespected once again
There will be a lot of engagement on the part of the NHL through lists and rankings of the prospect of each team as the NHL is currently in off-season mode.
As far as the Philadelphia Flyers were concerned, they weren't included on the list of elite players compiled by the NHL Network.
With the likes of Alex Ovechkin, Steven Stamkos and Auston Matthews, none of the current established players on the Flyers have been able to produce enough in the league to be ranked on these lists.
In spite of the team's progress at this stage in its development, it simply lacks the kind of talent that would be able to perform such a role.

The Flyers were listed as a rebuilding team on the top prospects list for the reason that they are in fact a rebuilding team, and they have two prospects on the list, Matvei Michkov and Cutter Gauthier.
Maybe someday there will be Flyers on that elite list, but for now, there aren't any on it yet.
