As the 2023 offseason nears August, most of the big free-agent moves have settled, but teams are still looking to complete their rosters. Here are the top five available players:

Patrice Bergeron: The Boston Bruins legend remains unsigned, and while there's uncertainty about his future, he's still a top talent.
Patrick Kane: Recovering from surgery, Kane will likely start next season as a free agent. Once he's back in action, expect contenders to show interest.
Jonathan Toews: If healthy, Toews will commit to playing next season. The Oilers and Capitals are potential landing spots.

Vladimir Tarasenko: Contract talks have stalled, and Tarasenko might be looking at a one-year 'show me' deal after a decent season.
Tomas Tatar: Coming off a productive year with the Devils, Tatar is a sought-after free agent, with the Ducks and Predators showing interest.
Should the Flyers take a look at any of these available veterans, or stay away? Let us know in the comments.
