There was a recent analysis of a trade between the Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers, posted by Marco Normandin.

The Flyers ultimately lost three impact players to the Habs as a result of this trade.
A 7th round pick that the Flyers didn't value would be taken advantage of by the Canadiens. In fact, how often do 7th-round picks become NHL players? With the Habs, this happens more often than you might think.
Multiple 7th-round picks were exchanged between the Flyers and Canadiens in a three-part trade.

Cayden Primeau was the result of a 2017 7th-round trade by the Habs for their 2018 7th-round pick.
During the 2018 draft, the Habs regained their 7th-round pick for a 2019 7th-round pick, and drafted Brett Stapley.
It would be in 2019 that they traded their 2020 7th-round pick for Rafael Harvey Pinard, who would become their 2019 7th-round pick.
Two of the three picks, Cayden Primeau and Rafael Harvey Pinard, were drafted by the Habs, clearly indicating Ron Hextall's slacking off.
With 14 goals and 20 assists in 34 games, Pinard had a breakout season last year.
