Claude Giroux has been on a non-stop burner with the Florida Panthers and you can't not love it. Turning out to be one of the best trades ever made.


Since the trade deadline, Claude Giroux has had 20 points in 16 games with the Florida Panthers, propelling them to a 15-1-0 record.


As reported by NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, the transition from a struggling Flyers team to a stacked, high-end juggernaut like the Panthers was seamless. We should have seen this coming with his showing at the recent All-Star Game. That's what happens when you surround him with high caliber guys.



Sometimes, big name deals don't workout. Especially if done in a rush and in a false sense that this player is what a team needs. Take for example when Nick Foligno when to the Leafs during the last trade deadline.

Before the Giroux deal, many people were wondering why they wanted to acquire him with an already stacked top 6. There were questions on where he would play, what his role would be and if he could adjust. We know now that all our worries were misplaced and that Claude Giroux, like he's always done, never lets the team he plays for down.
