In the last 48 hours, pundits, fans, and other executives have weighed in on head coach John Tortorella's decision to bench Kevin Hayes.

Many feel that Hayes should not have been benched with his points total showing he's the best points producer on the team let alone the team struggling in offense due to major injuries through the first 35 games.
However, NHL Network hosted by Scott Hartnell for the Flyers gave a breakdown of their thoughts and play-by-play actions by Hayes to show that the benching may be justified. Tortorella holds his players especially his veterans to a higher standard and it seems Hayes is not buying into it.

We will see where this developing story takes us so stay tuned.
