It's no secret that the Philadelphia Flyers are currently in a rebuilding and rebranding phase. The team has made a deliberate decision to move on from their previous management, which included the president and former general manager, Chuck Fletcher.

Flyers ownership has brought in an entirely new staff, with former Flyer Keith Jones now serving as the president of hockey operations, and Danny Briere being promoted to the position of general manager.
Flyers fans hope that these changes, coupled with the infusion of new talent through the draft and potential trades, will help transform the team's fortunes and make them playoff contenders once again.
A crucial aspect of this transformation is the rebranding of the franchise, which includes the introduction of a new jersey. This jersey exudes a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of the original Flyers jersey from the 1980s. It was prominently showcased during the NHLPA rookie event, with Tyson Foerster, a future star for the Flyers, donning it on the ice.
This process of change will be gradual, but as new players join the team and the Flyers demonstrate their ability to win more games and compete with their rivals in the Metropolitan Division, they will likely return to the playoffs within the next few years.
