Being the fourth team with the least points in the NHL, the Flyers are likely to get the third overall pick during the 2022 NHL draft. However, it's the lottery that decides ultimately but the Flyers and the Kraken are the favourites to get the third overall pick.

According to Craig Button, TSN draft expert, the number three is set to be Juraj Slafkovsky, a 6-foot-4, 218-pound left winger/center who is moving up the draft charts. Slafkovsky is currently playing in the Finnish league and his team is in the second round of the Liiga playoffs.

The young Slovakian, who performed admirably during the 2022 Olympics, scoring 7 goals in 7 games, is already part of an amazing list. Slafkovsky is one of a few U18 skaters to have scored 5+ points in Liiga playoff history along with Aleksander Barkov, Teuvo Teravainen, Jesse Puljujarvi and Patrik Laine to name a few!
Let's hope that the Flyers get the third pick and bring this amazing prospect to Philly.
