It's been almost 5 years since Morgan Frost was taken as the 27th overall pick by the Flyers. Since, the 5 foot 11 center has put astronomical numbers in the OHL, before playing his first NHL game during the 2019-20 season.
However, some fans are pretty disappointed with the play of the young forward. In the Flyers' 5-3 loss against the Capitals at home, Frost played his 50th game in the NHL. He registered 14 points in that span.
But is it as alarming as some are saying? Not really. Brayden Schenn, who Flyers fans know well, put exactly the same amount of points on the board in his first 50 games.
Since, Schenn became a very effective player in a top-6 role, as he scored 492 points in 746 games.
