There could be an announcement soon regarding Ryan Ellis' health

When are we going to know what is really happening in the case of Ryan Ellis?
Since his injury, Chuck Fletcher and Mike Yeo got asked multiple times if he was going to have surgery but they always answered that they didn't know. Today, Adam Kimelman asked the Flyers' interim head coach if he had any updates on his defenseman, but visibly, he wasn't ready yet to say what is the team's plan for Ellis.
"There's been talk lately as far as sort of, I don't want to say conclusion, but a decision as far as how things are gonna progress (...) But I'd like to talk to our trainer to make sure that we're 100 percent on that before I announce," said Mike Yeo.
If the Flyers want Ellis to be ready for training camp in September, they will have to make a decision soon. He only played four games this season, registering 5 points.
