The recent benching of Egor Zamula has given rookie Emil Andrae a chance to crack the lineup.
As far as John Tortorella is concerned, Andrae hasn't made the best decisions and has made quite a few mistakes.
I would send Emil Andrae back to Lehigh. He could use more seasoning, and there is nothing wrong with that

It doesn't endear him to fans, since while Andrae made the team, there's still debate over whether or not he's NHL-ready.
Meanwhile, fans want Andrae to spend a little more time in the AHL to sharpen up his skills.
Coach John Tortorella has said Andrae made some mistakes in the preseason and in his one regular-season game, «but we're going to try to be as patient as possible. It's the hardest position to play.»
In the meantime, Rasmus Ristolainen is still out with an injury, along with Marc Staal, if Andrae is sent down for more seasoning.
Flyers have the kind of flexibility in their lineup to move talent up to the big league and down to the AHL on a long-term basis, so this sounds like a good long-term problem.
