There will be a battle between two former Flyers in the Stanley Cup Finals

The Stanley Cup Finals are set to begin on Wednesday in Colorado between the Avalanche and the Lightning. Flyers fans are certainly hoping to see their team at this stage of the Playoffs in the near future.

However, they will have the chance to root for two former Flyers in these Finals: Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare.

Aube-Kubel played with the Flyers this season, but he was put on waivers by the team. The Avalanche claimed him. He was a big part of the fourth line success for Colorado this year.

As for Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, he played 80 regular season games with the Lightning, and 17 since the start of the Playoffs.
