Tony Marinaro, Grant McCagg, a former NHL scout and Simon "Snake" Boisvert of The Stickpodcast joined the podcast to discuss Michkov.
According to Simon Boisvert, he was one of the few people who took the Washington Capitals Russian scout's character opinions seriously.
Afterward, Michkov was found to have vetted his own interviews and arranged meetings with the teams he wished to meet with.

Therefore, this hot take cannot be based on reality since Boisvert compared Michkov to Yakupov.
Apparently, they are relying on confirmation bias, since information keeps coming out that he will not score 80 points or make the playoffs.
