This Flyer is Taking a Risky Move
Philadelphia Flyer Cam Atkinson was out the entire season with an undisclosed injury last year. Well, it seems to be he's feeling well enough to play some hockey.
Atkinson is going to be partaking in a men's league over the summer. This is a risky move from the Flyer due to the fact that there is a lot of idiots in men's leagues, who aren't afraid to lay people out. Just ask NHL legend Ryan Smith
Apparently he's okay enough to return to training camp and play in this men's league, but the risk is greater than the reward in this situation.
The main focus should be having him 100% healthy and, on the Flyers, because that's where the contract is and where his priorities should be.
