The Pittsburgh Penguins recently underwent a major change in leadership by parting ways with Ron Hextall and Brian Burke. Kyle Dubas has since been hired to rebuild the team according to his vision, and it appears that no one is safe from potential changes.

As reported by Elliot Friedman, the Penguins are interested in acquiring Scott Laughton, a center from a rival team.
Elliotte Friedman believes #LetsGoPens Kyle Dubas could have some interest in Scott Laughton.

Laughton has impressed many this season, achieving a career high of 43 points and earning a gold medal.
The Flyers are in the process of rebuilding with a focus on youth, so Laughton's asking price would be high.
He has already turned down an offer that included two 1st round draft picks later in the round. It remains to be seen what sweeteners Dubas would offer, given that the Penguins' prospect pool is thin and he needs to retain assets to keep the team competitive.
It will be interesting to see what happens between the two teams and Laughton. Nevertheless, it's worth paying attention to Pittsburgh as the Metropolitan Division is bound to get more competitive.
