As we look back on this season, the Flyers performances have been very frustrating: few goals scored, lots of missed opportunities, a crumbling defense and to top it all off already 176 goals conceded in just 51 games.
So basically, how bad is this Flyers team?
Some say that Mike Yeo's players are even worse than the ones of Ken Hitchcock (coach in 2006) and that the Flyers are currently in the middle of their worst season ever, so let's take a look at the numbers.
2006-2007 Flyers team finished the season with a total of 56 points with 82 games played. It's the worse they've ever done as evidenced by their position: last. Currently, Philadelphia has 40 points with 31 games to play so there is still hope that they manage to avoid the same catastrophic result of the 2006 season.

However, it is not looking good for Philly.
The point percentage for this season is .392, it's the third worse in the franchise history and the ratio of shots against per game played is the 4th worse, which illustrates well the fragility of the team.
While the defense is in very bad shape with 176 goals conceded, the lack of efficiency of Flyer's forwards is alarming: only 129 goals scored so far.
So, for now the team is not as bad as the 2006-2007 one, but if the losses keep adding-up ,Philly might just register their worst season ever.
