The big part of why the Flyers are where they are is the multiple injuries that key players have suffered during the campaign. The majority of them came back, while Sean Couturier and Ryan Ellis are the only important players that are still sidelined.
With that being said, there's one player who is really feeling it since his return to action. Kevin Hayes has 12 points in 11 games, a +6 rating and an average of 19 minutes of ice time since coming back from injury.
That could be absolutely huge for the Flyers if Kevin Hayes transports this kind of offensive production next season. At least, he's showing that he still got it so there's hope for Flyers fans.
