After a scoreless opening frame, Scott Hartnell gave the home team a 1-0 lead at 12:15 of the second period before
T.J. Oshie knotted the score early in the third.

November 7th Flyers Trade:
On this day in 2008, Philadelphia shipped forward Steve Downie, defenseman Steve Eminger, and draft pick to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for defenseman Matt Carle and a pick.
In 308 games with the Flyers over four seasons, Carle recorded 15 goals and 137 points. He was a +55 -- including a +30 rating during 2010-11 campaign, which tied him with Andrej Meszaros for the team lead in the category -- while only picking up 91 penalty minutes.
He won the 2009-10 Pelle Lindbergh Memorial Award as Philadelphia's Most Improved Player, and was instrumental in the club's run to the 2010 Stanley Cup Final.
Carle returned to Tampa Bay this past summer, signing as a free agent with the Lightning.
