Tony DeAngelo Reveals John Tortorella Pushed Him Out of Philly

Tony DeAngelo's turbulent journey in the NHL continues as he lands back with the Carolina Hurricanes after being bought out by the Philadelphia Flyers.

The defenseman doesn't hold back when discussing his departure from Philly, pointing the finger at his former coach, John Tortorella.
"The coach and I wound up not fitting together, I guess that would be the main reason," admits DeAngelo.

The contentious relationship with Tortorella saw him benched for the final five games of the season, a move DeAngelo openly criticized. The Flyers added salt to the wound with a statement acknowledging his point production but highlighting their defensive struggles with him on the ice.
Despite the controversy, DeAngelo doesn't hold back, and hockey fans certainly had some fun with it.
