After tonight's 7-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils, Head coach John Tortorella reported that two of his players will be heading back to the Leigh High Valley phantoms after the game. Goaltender Sam Ersson and left winger Elliot Desnoyers will return to their AHL club because they will be facing Bridgeport tomorrow afternoon.
The reason this is happening is the fact that the Flyers will be on a long break between games and with the AHL schedule continuing as normal the Flyers felt that these players could use more time on the ice to continue to develop their game.

A decision will be made on whether they'll both come back before the next Flyers game which will be on Wednesday against the New York Rangers.
Errson has been having a particularly good season with the Flyers posting a 6-0-0 record holding 2.56 goals against average and a .913 save percentage going into tonight's contest.
The Flyers are hoping for a better effort next game against the Rangers.
