In this tumultuous season for the Philadelphia Flyers, one steady beacon has been head coach John Tortorella. He has given the Flyers fans a steady voice to where this team is currently and where he would like to see it develop.

His vision of how hockey should be played has been taught repeatedly this year with many of his players buying into his system.
Today, however, he admitted he is one of the worst coaches at reaching out to the Lee High Valley Phantoms Head coach Ian Laperriere.

Having such a busy schedule and trying to give the Flyers lessons on how to play the game he has worked through the front office evaluations to communicate with the AHL head coach.
Torts, in his usual fashion, commended The Phantoms staff for the work that was done on Flyers defenseman Cam York. Tortorella certainly had a different opinion at the beginning of this season on York in which he was sent down to the minors to improve his game.
After several weeks he came back to the lineup due to an injury of another teammate and he has remained with the team ever since.
This has been one of the bright spots for the Flyers as this season continues to roll on and continues to show that a rebuild is necessary. Cam York will be part of that solution.
