A 23-year-old man is dead tragically last weekend as a consequence of an incident that reportedly included a former NHL prospect for the San Jose Sharks.

When the 23-year-old victim of a stabbing passed away, Artem Ivanyuzhenkov, who is 24 years old and has recently played for the San Jose Sharks AHL squad, was accused of being the murderer. Specifically, the event happened in the Russian city of Podolsk, where Ivanyuzhenkov was having a birthday party.
The news outlet, Aftonbladet released the following information, and it was then translated to English:
False and complete lies are flying around the internet that I committed a crime in the Moscow region in some restaurant. Do not believe unconfirmed information. I am at the training camp in Sochi for the third day. The investigation will sort everything out.

When the San Jose Sharks organization offered Ivanyuhenkov a chance in the 201920 season, he was an undrafted player and would depart North America before the year even came to a close.
Ivanyuzhenkov also murdered a cyclist in Russia in the year 2020. In addition, it was discovered that Artem's father served as both the Minister of Sports from 2006 to 2021 and the Deputy Speak of the Russian Parliament, which may have contributed to these events being covered up.
