Tortorella just revealed the ideal type of player he wants for his Flyers

In a recent article by Flyers reporter Sam Carchidi, he took a look on what make Torts successful, where he has succes and what type of player he likes to have on his roster.
First and foremost, he likes a player who does a little bit of everything. Makes good passes, backchecks, forechecks, crashes the net and is capable of playing up and down your lineup.
"He wants his top forwards to sometimes get dirty in front of the net, and his bottom-liners to do more than just be good defensive players who play with a hellbent style."
Once again, is 6'3, 227 pound winger Josh Anderson the power forward he likes. Someone like Chris Kreider perhaps?

"They need to worry about their conditioning, worry about their game. But they also need to believe that not one player does it. You have to do it all together in a team concept."
In an ideal world, and in a Tortorella led team, it's not that his most offensive guys will turn into checkers, but rather they realize that for the sake of the team, they need to play some defense too.
It will be interesting to see how the team reacts.
