Travis Konecny is Nearly Passing The Best Player in The Entire World
Flyers forward Travis Konecny has had an unbelievable season and has shown no signs of slowing down his offensive production any time soon. Konecny has 24 goals and 22 assists in 38 games this season and is only 15 points away from tying his career high of 61 points he recorded in the 2019-2020 season.
While Connor McDavid has paced the league in scoring and will certainly run away with the scoring title, Konecny's impressive stretch of hockey is almost identical to McDavid in production.
Over the last calendar month, Konecny is second in the NHL in points with 20. He trails McDavid by only one point during that same stretch of hockey. While Konecny won't likely chase down McDavid in total points, it is cool to see a young player proving that he can keep up with the best in the game.
