There's been a growing trend this off-season that players are looking at others options to play outside of north America.

We have had eight players from various teams in the League leave for a variety of reasons today is number nine as NHL veteran known as "Uncle Leo" Komarov has signed a one-year deal with Lulea Hockey of the Swedish Hockey League.
Playing overseas will be very familiar territory for Komarov who began his career as a professional hockey player in the Finnish Elite League all the way back during the 2005 - 2006 season.
Komarov has played in a total of 491 regular season games and scoring 63 goals while adding 107 assists for a total of 170 career points in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and New York Islanders.
The financial terms of his new deal have not been disclosed.
