It's been a few hours into free agency and the Johnny Gaudreau sweepstakes are still ongoing.

According to David Pagnotta from the Fourth Period, the Devils have offered a 7 year deal at $10M+, while the Islanders offered 7 years at sub $10M.
For Flyers' GM Chuck Fletcher, this is a huge problem as we have no cap space to offer him the money he deserves. Pierre LeBrun says that Columbus might be a sneaky team that could swoop in at the last minute.
