Weird Dynamic In Flyers' Land: John Tortorella Speaks on The Reports of Farabee's Camp Being 'Unhappy'

Tortorella did say he has not given up on Farabee.

It's also worth noting that Farabee says the report is being overblown. Seems people may have twisted his words and ran with their own narratives, according to Farabee.

None of that even touches on Travis Sanheim being scratched in (essentially) his hometown, and finding out about it the morning of the game via a text message from his coach.

This also doesn't mention how we've known for awhile now Tortorella and Fletcher aren't seeing the same future vision for this team. Fletcher is still seemingly convinced, at least the last we all heard, that this is a team in "tweak" mode while Tortorella has been abundantly clear this is a team that's rebuilding.

It's all strange, but the fact Fletcher did not inherit Tortorella from a previous general managed, and he's the one that actually hired him, seemingly knowing they didn't agree on most things where the future vision of the team is concerned has the be the strangest thing in all of this. The dynamic is weird and I don't think anyone can truly make heads or tails of any of it at this point.
