During the 2015 NHL Draft, Colin White was chosen by the Ottawa Senators as the 21st overall pick in the first round.
However, an awkward moment unfolded as White shook hands with the Senators' management but seemingly ignored NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.
A video capturing the incident went viral.
Years later, White established himself in the league and joined the Florida Panthers as a depth player in the 2022-2023 season.
Although the Panthers made it to the Stanley Cup Finals, they fell short of victory. Throughout the playoffs, White made contributions on the ice, including two assists and seven shots on goal.
