If you haven't heard yet, the Flyers ownership is currently being sued by two of its long term employees for exposing them to cancer causing fumes at Voorhees Practice Facility.

Jim McCrossin, Flyers' Director of Medical Services and Sal Raffa, assistant athletic trainer since are both suing team ownership after receiving news of incurable blood cancer diagnoses that they say came from overexposure to zamboni fumes at the team's practice facility.

In response, the Flyers released a statement saying that they have looked into the allegations made by McCrossin and Raffa over the course of several months. Finally concluding that ‘that their claims have no merit'.

This clear lack of enraged Flyers fans and had people calling for the Comcast Spectator group to sell the team.

«The Flyers, both as a team on the ice and an organization off the ice, are completely unrecognizable.»

McCrossin, 64, developed thrombocythemia, myeloproliferative neoplasm and myelofibrosis (blood cancer), which is incurable. Raffa developed thrombocythemia.

One fan wrote,

«Organization didn't have to comment, but specifically chose to tell you that two dying men are lying. Then they finished it up with «we cannot comment.»

In many people's eyes, it's as if this season from hell has the Flyers actively trying to make their own fans hate them.

Wishing nothing but the best to Jim McCrossin, Sal Raffa and their friends and family. The fans are behind you even if the team is not.
