Where is Michal Neuvirth now?
In 2015, Michael Neuvirth signed a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers to serve as a backup for Steve Mason.
He played for the Flyers for four years before becoming a free agent in 2018-2019. Neuvirth tried to secure a job with the Toronto Maple Leafs on a PTO, but was unsuccessful.
He returned to his hometown in Czechia to sign a contract with HC Sparta Praha of the Czechia Extraliga and has been playing for the team until 2020-2021.
Neuvirth has now transitioned to a new role within the team as a goalie coach for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
