Wholesome moment was the highlight of last night's game
Last night, the Philadelphia Flyers held a specialty night to honor the fight against cancer.
The Flyers took on the Carolina Hurricanes with Owen Micciche on the team the entire game.
As part of his one-day contract with the club, 9-year-old Micciche read the line-up in the locker room and was named honorary captain.

Since he was 6 months old, Micciciche has been living with a pediatric brain tumor diagnosis, but his dream came true last night thanks to the Flyers.
Miccicciche also shared his knowledge as captain of Pennsylvania's Genesis Hockey Club with the team.
We didn't get two points last night but we certainly had the first star.
In order to treat the new tumors on his spine, Miccicciche will undergo additional cancer treatment within the next year.

We and the Flyers will be rooting for their youngest teammate in his continued battle against cancer.
