Nicolas Deslauriers has never had much of an offensive touch, but makes up for it with his heart and passion. The thirty one year old from Lasalle Quebec was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings back in the third 3rd round with the 84th overall back in 2009.
However, he didn't get his NHL career on the go until he was picked up by the Buffalo Sabres during the 2013-14 season. After spending four seasons with the Sabres, Deslauriers went back to his hometown province to play for the Montreal Canadiens. Deslauriers then played 3 seasons with the Anaheim Ducks before being moved at the trade deadline last season to the Minnesota Wild.
This season Deslauriers signed with the struggling Philadelphia Flyers, but he's making a name for himself with this crazy stat.
Deslauriers leads the entire NHL in fights owning 7 out of the 17 fights this season.
