Big Z, Zdeno Chara has not decided on whether or not he will be playing during the 2022-23 season, but things seem to point to the big man returning at least for one more season.
The question now remains if Chara does return where will he play? Chara's agent, Matt Keator, told Matt Porter of the Boston Globe earlier this summer that the veteran would announce his decision this September.
Sources say that he has three teams that have expressed interest in signing Chara to a one year deal for next season, those teams are:
The Boston Bruins
Chara spent most of his Career as a Bruin and with the Bruins resigning Patrice Bergeron, and David Krejci they would like to add Chara for one more Stanley cup run.

The New York Rangers
The New York Rangers took a massive step in the right direction last year getting back to the playoffs making it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Adding Chara would add some more toughness to play with new captain
Jacob Trouba.
The New York Islanders
Chara spent this past season with the New York Islanders, and admitted he enjoyed his time there. The Islanders believe they have what it takes to compete for a playoff spot, Chara would continue to be a asset to the team.
However, what about the Philadelphia Flyers? Chara had a hall of fame worthy career. If I was Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher I'd sign Chara to a contract as he can still go he would help mentor the younger Flyers and let's be real Chara looks like he belongs on the Philadelphia Flyers with the style of game he plays.
