The Philadelphia Flyers will continue their push to try and land first seed in the Eastern Conference when they play the Washington Capitals on Thursday. Head coach Alain Vigneault has already announced Joel Farabee will jump into the lineup to replace Michael Raffl who will miss some time due to injury. It's not the only change that we'll see on Thursday. AV has already confirmed that goalie Carter Hart will take a seat as Brian Elliott will get the start against Washington. Despite Hart saving 34 of 35 shots against the Bruins, Elliott will get the chance to jump in and it's not the worse decision considering Hart dealt with some back spasms during training camp. The Flyers' head coach told reporters to get ready for another change up front as he revealed Farabee wouldn't be the only new forward to jump into the lineup but wouldn't reveal who the other forward is and who would be scratched. We might also see some changes on defense as AV said there's a chance that Shayne Gostisbehere jumps into the lineup. It's possible we get a glimpse of the new lines at practice.
