The Philadelphia Flyers are starting to get the injury bug. First it was James van Riemsdyk, then Nolan Patrick got crunched into the boards and now it looks like the Flyers might have lost another forward. On Friday at practice Travis Konencny was trying to tip pucks in front of the net but ended up getting blasted by an Ivan Provorov shot on the inside of his foot. Konencny immediately hobbled off the ice, met with the trainer but eventually was shut down for the rest of the day. Patrick is gone for at least a week, and as of right now Konencny is just questionable for Saturday but definitely looks like he could miss some time. After practice Ron Hextall had no information to share, however if Konencny misses some time we'll likely see some call ups soon.
