He was supposed to be the Philadelphia Flyers center of the future, however his career has taken a tough turn. Flyers' 2017 first round draft pick Nolan Patrick didn't play a single game during the 2019-20 season. Reports came out that Patrick is dealing with some pretty tough concussion issues however the Flyers have been adamant that his family has a history of migraines and that is the only reason why Patrick was sidelined last year. There were brief moments of hope where Patrick skated with the team and it seemed like he could play, but when all was said and done, Patrick didn't wear a Flyers' jersey for a single game last year. However there could be some hope regarding the 2020-21 season. With the extended period of time off, it seems Patrick has had time to clear his mind, literally. From Sam Carchidi of the Inquirer:"Nolan Patrick is skating without issues and able to sleep much better because headaches have diminished. Still some hurdles but it's optimistic."So there's no guarantee that he'll play this year but it's sounding like he has a better chance than last year. Do you think Patrick will play again?
