The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher have been extremely quiet during the offseason. It was made pretty clear during the bubble playoffs that the Flyers need some scoring punch as they struggled to produce any sort of offensive production. There's one solution that's staring them right in the face, unfortunately it seems that Fletcher wants nothing to do with it. NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun has reported that a handful of teams are still talking to free agent sniper Mike Hoffman.Unfortunately according to Flyers insider Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philly, the Flyers aren't one of them. Hall reports that his sources have confirmed the Flyers aren't in on the Hoffman sweepstakes. It's too bad because they have around $5million in cap space, a number that could be around what Hoffman would accept on a one year deal. Would you like to see Fletcher change his mind and go after Hoffman?
