BREAKING Aube-Kubel Claimed Off Waivers.

"Yesterday the Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher surprised fans with a roster move.
Forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel was placed on waivers. It was a risky move and plenty thought he would be claimed after all the speculation he might be chosen by Seattle during the expansion draft. While he didn't end up in Seattle then, he did get claimed off waivers on Saturday. Aube-Kubel is headed to the Colorado Avalanche after being claimed by the Western Conference team. The 25 year old had registered an assist in 7 games so far this season.
