"Nothing seems to be going right for the Philadelphia Flyers this season and they just got hit with some more bad news. With Ryan Ellis and Kevin Hayes sidelined with injuries, they've now lost another forward for an extended period of time. General manager Chuck Fletcher announced that forward Nate Thompson is done for awhile. Fletcher revealed that Thompson underwent surgery today and is sidelined for a "significant amount of time". The GM added that Hayes could play this week.
